Mangroves: a co-working space that supports Okinawa, Japan, and the future of the world
The Okinawa Cellular Forest Building was established in 2021 in front of Asahibashi Station, about 10 minutes on the Yui Rail from Naha Airport. The coworking space "Mangrove" is located on its second floor.
The bright and clean entrance is based on white. Enter the building after temperature measurement and hand disinfection.
Visitors enter the building by holding up a QR code at two locations: one on the first floor and one on the second. A new QR code is created for each use, so there is no need to worry about security. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance, but if there are seats available on the day and the QR code can be received on the day of use, it is possible to use the facility.

Most coworking spaces are open spaces like cafes, large desks shared by several people, or desks with partitions on both sides like study rooms at cram schools. However, here, you will find semi-private seats with a unique shape that wraps around you, phone booths that block out most of the sound so you can concentrate, and meeting rooms that can accommodate small to large groups, providing the perfect environment for concentrating while still protecting your privacy and allowing you to feel the presence of others nearby.

Phone booths are available for 2 people (1 room) and 1 person (3 rooms). The two person option is popular because the price is the same. Since it has high sound insulation and the brightness and color of the lighting can be changed, it can be used for various purposes other than phone calls, such as online job interviews and whenever you need to concentrate.
There are 4 outlets in the double seat, so you can use multiple electronic devices at the same time without worry.
The marche counter is equipped with a drink bar
Drinks and soup are complimentary. One bottled drink is also free. Especially for when you want to concentrate, drink Ramune, a source of energy for your brain.
This corner is under construction. Okinawa CLIP Marche, an online shopping site for Okinawan specialties, will soon be selling selected Okinawan specialties. Great for buying souvenirs during a business trip, or as a snack while taking a break.
