Ideal resort work with a hotel stay where you can feel the breath of Yanbaru

Mix your "workstyle" and "lifestyle" to create the perfect workcation

The ideal resort workcation is a stress-free work experience while enjoying the best of a resort stay.

What makes our resort different from typical shared offices is that there are no drop-ins (temporary users); only monthly memberships for companies and individuals who have passed the screening process. It's high security allows you to focus on work and in a way that makes it easy to relax.

The Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa located in the west coast resort area of Nago City, northern part of Okinawa's main island
is a hotel where you can enjoy a comfortable resort workcation immersed in the feeling of Okinawa. You can work in various areas of the hotel, including a lounge with lush Yanbaru trees, ocean-view rooms with spacious working desks, and a simple free space with only a desk and chair.

In addition, the further you are from urban areas, the more problematic communication can become. This is why the Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa completely rennovated its communication infrastructure last year, introducing dedicated high-speed lines. Security has also been strengthened to ensure safe internet access. Now, even during heavy volume time frames, such as morning online meetings, you won't have to worry about the speeds dropping.

Ensuring a comfortable work environment with a well-equipped working space

The lounge is divided into two parts: the public lounge and the club lounge. The club lounge, located in the center of the lobby floor, is a special space for guests staying on club floors and suites only. The music is a bit loud, but strangely enough, you can't hear it when you are concentrating. The speakers are at head height when you sit down so you cannot hear the other guests having business meetings nearby.

The club lounge offers different snacks and drinks throughout the day from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., so you can spend the entire day relaxing in the hotel while taking advantage of the lounge.

The gate opens with a room key for added security. There is a desk at the perfect height in the center of the room equipped with a power supply and other accessories.

The chandelier in the center is a work of the "Yanbaru Art Festival" and will be exhibited until April 9. It is based on the motif of the "iju" flower, a species endemic to Okinawa, and at night it projects fantastic shadow art on the ceiling.

The spacious guest room can also be used as a working space

Even standard rooms are spacious, starting from 44.6 ㎡. A large desk is there for when you need to work, and you can relax in a space with the sky, the sea, and the greenery of Yanbaru in front of you.

The club rooms are the same size, but the interior has been rennovated and enhanced.

You can relax comfortably without going out, with Bermuda Bluetooth speakers, free drinks in the refrigerator built into the cabinet, and internet TV that can be used for online meetings by connecting to your own PC; not to mention YouTube, Netflix, and more.

How about a cup of tea while watching the sun set over the ocean?

Club ocean premium rooms are even more spacious at 68.4 ㎡.

The Oriental Hotel
Okinawa Resort & Spa is full of family-friendly features, such as a kids's space where you can feel the familiar comfort of wood , a small aquarium, and a puzzle game that can be played inside the hotel even rainy day. During long stays, such as summer vacation, you can see families taking workcation together.

Fully-equipped facilities to change the mood

Hammock yoga in the morning sunlight is the perfect way to wake up your body. (Reservations required at least one day in advance.)

Spa facilities available from 15:00 to 23:00.

24-hour access to the gym, and the indoor pool is open until 10pm. This is a great place for engineers who work late into the night or to freshen up after a meeting in a different time zone.

A sauna tent and barrel sauna are set up by the pool for a limited time until the end of March. Visit the pool instead of taking a bath and relax out under the stars.

KANESHIRO Tsutomu, Manager, Corporate Planning Office.
"At the Oriental Resort
Okinawa Resort & Spa is a 70-minute drive from Naha Airport, but if you don't want to drive, or if you are on workcation and do not go out much during the day, we recommend that you use the limousine bus or airport shuttle bus instead of renting a car. If you want to go out for shopping or sightseeing from the hotel, we have a car sharing service that allows you to rent a car 24 hours a day in 15-minute increments. We have 5 cars ranging from mini cars to family cars, so please feel free to use them.

Since the beginning of the covid crisis, we have been working remotely, spreading out in vacant rooms as a countermeasure against infection. We have gradually made improvements based on feedback from this experience to create the comfortable environment we have today. On off days, we hope that our guests will enjoy the natural beauty of Yanbaru to the fullest through picnics and eco-tours that can be booked through an outdoor store."

The Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa offers a comfortable hotel stay and workcation with smart check-in, an amenity base that allows you to take only the amenities you need, rental of cables and mobile batteries, and printing at the store. We invite you to our resort for a working vacation in a hotel where you can truly experience Yanbaru.
