The complex facility "Ginowan Bayside Information Center" combines resort and business elements.

Welcome to ”Gwave” where various possibilities and ideas come to life in a vibrant  information hub resonating with vibrant colors where communication radiates.

Located approximately 20 minutes from Naha Airport, the gateway to Okinawa, on the west coast of Ginowan City, this exceptional facility, known as the "Ginowan Bayside Information Center or ‘Gwave’”, seamlessly blends resort and business in a prime location. With the sea,  just 30 seconds away offering spectacular sunset views, ‘Gwave’ stands as a multifaceted complex at the forefront of Ginowan's charm.

This area is a captivating urban resort zone, featuring not only the Okinawa Convention Center, Tropical Beach, Ginowan Marina, and Ginowan Seaside Park but also large-scale commercial facilities and condominium hotels. The addition of these amenities makes it an increasingly attractive urban resort destination.

A multifaceted facility leading the information industry in Ginowan City, equipped with four distinctive functionalities.

Since opening in 2013, ‘Gwave’ has been widely utilized by students and professionals alike as a cafe where studying and work can be facilitated, thanks to the availability of PCs and the internet connectivity. ‘Gwave’ has been instrumental in fostering various information-related startup companies.

① A designer cafe, "Gwave Cafe," where possibilities and ideas expand.

The cafe on the first floor features a space designed by a renowned architect. Here, you can enjoy a variety of drinks, including espresso, along with snacks like cakes and hot dogs that incorporate locally sourced products. It's an ideal place for activities such as PC based work and meetings while savoring the ambiance.

Each seat is equipped with power outlets. Becoming a member grants access to stable high-speed Wi-Fi, as well as complimentary use of Apple MacBook Pro(R) and Microsoft Surface(R) laptops.

‘Gwave’ is perfect for using as an office on the go, for coworking, reading, and more while traveling. The first floor is divided into a cafe area and a PC lounge area. In the cafe area, ordering a drink is mandatory, while the PC lounge area has no such restrictions, allowing for casual use similar to a community center. Local residents can be seen leisurely spending time reading newspapers. For copying and printing needs, there is a multifunction machine available for shared use by cafe and ‘Gwave’ users.

Membership registration is free. Procedures for one-day memberships can be completed at the cafe counter.

② Fostering startup companies to become leading industries in Okinawa Prefecture through "Gwave Incubate."

On the second floor, there is a shared office ‘Incubate’ with a mission to cultivate startup companies, focusing on new information and communication technologies that can become leading industries not only in Ginowan City but also in Okinawa Prefecture. The space features individual hexagonal desks with flexible layouts and double glazed glass-walled meeting rooms for discussions, phone calls, and meetings. Adopting a liberating work style, visitors are encouraged to take off their shoes at the entrance, adding a sense of freedom to the workspace.

In addition to regular membership plans and corporate membership plans, there is also a one-day drop-in membership plan available. Similar to the cafe on the first floor, members can rent Apple MacBook Pro(R) and Microsoft Surface(R) free of charge. Usage is limited to those involved in the information industry.

③ A place where many people gather, resonating with possibilities and ideas - "Gwave Space."

The meeting rooms are open for use as desks when they are not reserved. On the second floor, there are threefacilities that can be used for seminars and meetings. In addition to permanent fixtures such as desks and screens, there are also projectors available. The stable communication environment with multiple lines makes it suitable for webinars and broadcasts. These facilities are available for use by anyone, not limited to the information industry.

Additionally, next to the café area on the first floor, there is a facility called Gwave Spot, where individuals can hold web conferences as well as multiple-person meetings, seminars, workshops, and various other purposes. It is available for rent at affordable rates: 800 yen per hour for individual use and 1,200 yen per hour for multiple-person use.

④ "Gwave Office" - Fostering corporate growth and business development, contributing to job creation.

The 3rd to 5th floors comprise the office area, featuring 10 rooms of varying sizes tailored to different company scales: three rooms of 30 sqm, two rooms of 70 sqm, four rooms of 100-150 sqm, and one room of 200 sqm. Currently, nine diverse companies related to the information industry, including system development, web marketing, study abroad support, and VR production, are occupying these spaces. The aim is to foster corporate and business growth, leading to job creation, through the synergy of possibilities and ideas. Ginowan City, being a commuter town, attracts talent easily due to its convenient commuting options. With the opening of the Urasoe Nishi Kaigan Road in 2018, travel time from the airport has significantly reduced, providing favorable business conditions in terms of location.

Making use of open spaces while maintaining public accessibility to contribute to the community.

Ginowan Bayside Information Center, Tatsuro Isa (Operated by Interactive Corporation)

"We have a mission to foster and attract startup and core companies related to the information industry, leveraging the location and characteristics of Ginowan City. ‘Gwave’ has been in existence for 10 years, and being a building in Ginowan City, our mission goes beyond profit to include community contributions. The facility offers affordable rent and ample open space. Additionally, with connections to the tourism promotion association, we can introduce unique tourist attractions and gourmet information to those who visit Okinawa for telecommuting purposes. For example, an area just 10 minutes from Ginowan Marina features one of the world's leading coral reefs, a hidden gem seldom mentioned in typical tourist guides. Moreover, Ginowan is renowned for its abundance of dessert shops, so not only is it conveniently located for business use, but it also offers a wealth of souvenir-worthy content. Please feel free to take advantage of these offerings."
